Comics in the Classroom

Our Comics in the Classroom programs deliver Common Core language arts content through project-based learning. Over the course of an ELA reading unit, we guide students through the process of scripting, drawing, and ultimately publishing a comic book adaptation of the book you're reading in class!

We provide the hardware, software, and specialized instruction to turn any classroom into a fully functional comic book studio. During the adaptation process, students engage in deep reading, critical thinking and creative problem solving. We build a custom curriculum for every classroom we enter to ensure that every experience is tailored to the specific needs of the people in the room.
